Starting from Brändlen, hiking up through the inversion to Gigi or Giri, enjoying calm winter thermals until the cold really settles in, then reaching Buochserhorn for a break. Once the fingers warm up again, launching back toward the valley. And somehow, I’ve already repeated this little ritual four times this winter.

Rediscovering the open internet
The web was never meant to be locked behind login screens or controlled by a handful of social platforms. Today, with accessible tools and the rise of AI, anyone can build their own space online: whether it’s a simple page, a full app, or an entire community. You no longer need permission from Facebook, Instagram, or X (what a coincidence, that X here can also mean any other closed platform!) to share your voice or your creativity.
Over time, I’ve grown frustrated with how these platforms shape what we see. Instead of letting us search for the content we actually want, they push endless scrolling and ads, burying meaningful posts under whatever keeps us hooked the longest. It’s a system designed for engagement, not discovery.
This blog is my corner of the open internet, and I’m excited to fill it with ideas, experiments, and whatever else I feel like making. I hope you enjoy what you’re going to find here and even more, I hope it inspires you to create something of your own.
